The Satellite Hospitals Program is a Queensland Government initiative commitment to deliver seven new facilities to support public healthcare delivery in rapidly growing communities across South East Queensland. Hutchies will deliver the project for this program. The locations for the new Satellite Hospitals are Redlands, Caboolture, Kallangur, Tugun, Ripley, Bribie Island, and Eight Mile Plains.

The Satellite Hospitals will offer a range of services based on the health needs of the community. They will incorporate outpatient community-based healthcare services along with virtual healthcare opportunities. This integrated approach will provide comprehensive care to patients, catering to their specific healthcare requirements.

Each Satellite Hospital will feature a minor injury and illness clinic. These clinics will deliver non-urgent care, thereby supporting the emergency departments at major hospitals by giving people more options to access healthcare for minor injuries and illnesses close to home. This approach helps in reducing the burden on major hospitals and allows patients to receive timely care in their local communities.

Hutchies, as the builder for the Satellite Hospitals Program, will play a crucial role in constructing these facilities and ensuring we meet the required standards and specifications. Their expertise and experience in construction will contribute to the successful completion of the project, enabling the delivery of enhanced healthcare services to the communities in South East Queensland.
